Broken Sculptures

Fixing Small Damage

My sculptures are very solid and dense so damage during shipping is rare. However, if small breaks ever happen to your piece, there is no need to fear. The stone material always breaks cleanly allowing you to glue them back with little to no sign of damage, like a puzzle piece.

Here are some options:

  1. White school (PVA) glue: Common, affordable & the best choice for bonding stone! Allow the glue to become tacky before applying and hold the pieces together for about 30 seconds to ensure they stick. Then allow to dry for 12 hours, no touching!
  2. Quick-drying Tacky white glue: Basically the same thing as white glue so also excellent choice.
  3. Super glue (cyanoacrylate): Very poor at bonding stone, DON’T USE IT.
